 Carrie Peters gained her knowledge
during her 10-year tutelage as a senior paralegal at the top
law firm in California specializing in alcoholic beverage law,
Hinman & Carmichael LLP. Her work has brought her into
contact with both State and Federal agencies in charge of license
issuance. She has experience in licensing multi-layered companies,
including publicly-held companies and transactions involving multiple
transfers at one time (buy-outs of chain restaurants and hotels). She
does contract work for law firms specializing in alcoholic beverage
law. Carrie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political
Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She
also completed a graduate level Paralegal Program at the University
of San Diego.
 Carrie
Beard has the "inside"
knowledge of this business. She worked as an Investigator
with the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control in San Francisco,
CA for over 3 years. As
an Investigator, she worked on both the licensing and enforcement
side. Over the last seven years, she has personally
handled hundreds of Alcoholic Beverage License Applications. Prior
to starting Peters & Beard, she was a Probation Officer
for the Sacramento County Probation Department for 8 years. Carrie holds
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Sacramento State University,
and a CFM from UC Berkeley.
